両側下水平性半盲を呈したectopic pinealomaの1例

A Case of Bilateral Inferior Horizontal Hemianopsia Associated with an Ectopic Pinealoma

Ⅰ．はじめに

　一般に，両側水平性半盲は稀な症候であるが，とくに脳腫瘍を原因とするものは稀である．われわれは最近第3脳室前半部を占めるectopic pinealomaで両側下永平性半盲を呈した症例を経験したので報告する．

Bilateral inferior horizontal hemianopsia caused by an ectopic pinealoma was experienced. The case was a 17-year-old girl, who presented inferior horizontal hemianopsia, decreased visual acuity, optic atrophy bilaterally and panhypopituitarism. She had no other signs. The pneumoencephalography showed normal posterior third ventricle, but the ventriculography showed a filling defect of the anterior third ventricle and the enlarged lateral ventricles. The operation revealed that the tumor almost obliterated the foramen of Monro. Histologically it was a two-cell pattern pinealoma.
