外傷性浅側頭動静脈瘻の1治験例

TRAUMATIC ARTERIOVENOUS FISTULA OF THE SUPERFICIAL TEMPORAL ARTERY: REPORT OF A CASE

　外傷性の浅側頭動静脈瘻は，全身の外傷性動静脈瘻のほぼ1％であるといわれるが，本邦では現在までに，わずか4例が報告されているに過ぎない。最近私達は頭部外傷後短時日のうちに形成された浅側頭動静脈瘻の症例を経験したので，文献的考察を行うとともに，特に血管写の所見について報告する。

A case of traumatic arteriovenous fistula of the superficial temporal artery was herein reported indetail with concerned literatures. A 34-year-old man was admitted with chief complaint of a pulsatile tumor shortly after the head injury. The selective external carotid angiography revealed an arteriovenous fistula of the superficial temporal artery. A reversal flow from the contralateralartery was also demonstrated by the left common carotid angiography. The patient was discharged very much improved after the total removal on November 17, 1971.
