頭蓋内結核腫の2手術治験例

Two Operated Cases of Intracranial Tuberculoma

Ⅰ．はじめに

　頭蓋内結核腫は1790年Ford^24）により初めて記載されて以来，数多くの報告がなされている．しかし近年公衆衛生の発展と抗結核剤の進歩に伴い，結核性病変自体の減少とともに本疾患の報告はきわめて稀なものとなってきた．

　われわれは昭和38年および昭和52年に後頭葉および前頭葉に発生し，摘出手術により良好な結果を得た頭蓋内結核腫の2症例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加え報告する．

Although intracranial tuberculoma is rarely encountered in Japan today, it is still given differential diagnosis among obscure intracranial mass lesions. This report describes the authors' experience of 2 cases of intracranial tuberculoma in which the tuberculomas were successfully removed and full recovery was obtained. These 2 cases represented 0.15% of the total intracranial space-occupying lesions examined in their department.

Case 1 was a 14-yr-old girl. She was admitted following an epileptic seizure with loss of consciousness on May 23, 1963. She had papilledema and left hemiparesis.
