　臨床上内分泌学的症状および所見をまつたく欠く71歳の女性における左側副腎皮質腺腫の1手術例を報告し，その内分泌活性について検索した。腫瘍は拇指頭大で表面平滑淡黄色であり，clear cellよりなる腺腫で，組織内ステロイド濃度よりみるとcortisol前駆物質の生成亢進を示したが，cortisol濃度は腫瘍周囲副腎組織と同程度であつた。

Described in the present report was a case of a 71-year-old woman who had a thumb-sized left adrenocortical adenoma but manifested neither endocrinological signs nor symptoms. The tumor was composed of clear-cells. Cortisol content in the tumor was found to be almost equal to that of its adjacent adrenocortical tissue, but content of cortisol precursors in the tumor was rather increased.
