内分泌非活性副腎皮質癌の1例

A CASE OF NON-FUNCTIONING ADRENAL CORTICAL CARCINOMA

緒言

　副腎皮質癌は全腫瘍の0.17％^1）と，稀な疾患で，特に内分泌非活性型は臨床症状や検査成績に特徴的なものはなく，診断はしばしば困難で，初診時すでに腫瘍が巨大であることも稀でない^2,3）。今回われわれは内分泌非活性型と思われる副腎皮質癌症例を経験したので報告する。

A 42-year-old woman was admitted with complaint of a painful mass in the left costovertebral region. A plain film and excretory urograms showed a round mass with a calcification above the left nephro-gram. There were no endocrinological abnormalities in the laboratory examinations. The tumor, measur-ing 14.5×11.0×9.0 cm, weighing 1340 g was removed through a subcostal transperitoneal incision and this tumor was pathologically diagnosed as adrenal cortical carcinoma. At present, the patient has no evidence of metastasis 10 months postoperatively.
