緒言
1887年のWagnerおよびUnverrichtの始めての報告以来，皮膚筋炎は臨床ならびに病理学的によく知られたものとなつてきたが，本症が真に一つの独立した疾患であるか否かについては，特に悪性腫瘍との関係を考えるときいまだ解決されたものとはいえない。しかし，皮膚筋炎に悪性腫瘍が合併しやすいことは従来より指摘されている事実であり，しかも年々増加の傾向がみられるという。
われわれも膀胱癌を合併した1例を経験したので，ここに報告し，あわせて本邦報告例を中心に2,3の問題点について考察を行なつてみる。
A case of bladder tumor associated with dermatomyositis, in a 51 year-old female, was reported.
Patient visited our clinic with the chief complaint of redness and swelling of the upper eyelid and muscle pain of the upper and lower limb, with increasing pain and gradual generalized edema. The diagnosis of dermatomyositis was established by biopsy and clinical symptoms, and was treated with steroids. The urinary creatinine was increased to 267.3mg/day.
10 months after the onset of dermatomyositis, bladder tumor was discovered, after the appearance of hematuria.
