精索横紋筋肉腫の1例

RHABDOMYOSARCOMA OF THE SPERMATIC CORD: REPORT OF A CASE

　精索腫瘍は比較的稀なものとされているが，欧米文献ではLésauvage（1845）の報告以来380余例におよび，また本邦文献上では伊藤（1912）の円形細胞肉腫を第1例として現在まで66例の報告がある。

　最近，われわれは精索横紋筋肉腫の1例を経験したので以下報告する。

A 40-year-old man was admitted for investigation of painful left inguinal mass, which had been increasing in size for one year. A tender, hard, nodular mass was found in the left groin and partially adhesive to the skin. Through the left inguinal incision, a 5 by 6 by 4 cm., 55g. mass including the left testicle was excised en bloc.

Microscopic examination showed rhabdomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord.

Intravenous administration of Mitomycin C,4mgx × 7, total 28 mg. was done after surgery followed by Co 60 irradiation (300R × 22, total 6600R).

No symptom of recurrence has been found for two years, postoperatively.
