Ⅰ．緒言

　ウィルムス腫瘍は主に5才以下の小児にみられる悪性腫瘍で，成人では稀とされるが，私は最近中年女性に特異な発生の仕方を示したウイルムス腫瘍を経験したので報告し，併せて若干の考察を加える。

Nephroma (Wilms) in a middle aged female, which showed an unusual route of growth, was reported.

Patient is a 49 year old house wife with the chief complaint of a mass at the right hypochondral region and the diagnosis of tumor of the right renal capsule was obtained from various examination. Extrarenal development of the tumor, which had been connected with the kidney only by the capsule, was confirmed by surgery. Histological findings were of the typical nephroma and teleCo-60 treatment was done postoperatively. The course ever since has been uneventful.
