　はじめに

　急性骨髄性白血病（AML）は耳鼻科領域に症状が出現することがあり，側頭骨浸潤による報告例が散見される^1〜15）。

　今回われわれは，化学療法によって完全寛解を得ていたにもかかわらず，側頭骨への白血病細胞浸潤による再発をきたした症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

A 13-year-old boy developed granulocytic sarcoma in the left mastoid at 4 years old after the first remission of acute myelogenous leukemia with an 8;21 transloca-tion. He visited our clinic with complaint of a left retro-auricular swelling. CT and MRI revealed a tumor occu-pied in the mastoid cells and massively expanded both intra and extra cranially without apparent bone destruc-tion.

The diagnosis of granulocytic sarcoma was made by the histopathologyical examination of retroauricular swel-ling region. Though the second remission was achieved by chemotherapy, he died of the tumor relapsed one year later.
