I．はじめに

　鼻副鼻腔領域における歯原性腫瘍の発生頻度は低く，なかでも象牙腫はきわめてまれな腫瘍とされている。

　筆者らは，鼻中隔後上端から発生し，一側の鼻腔と副鼻腔のほぼ全体を充満した象牙腫の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 14-year-old boy with dentinoma of the nasal septum, complaining of left-sided nasal obstruction, was presented. On clinical examinations, a reddish orange-colored tumor was seen filling the left nasal cavity and distorting the root of nose. It was revealed as a radiopaque mass in x-ray examination of the sinuses. Surgical removal was performed and it was found that the tumor was originated from the supraposterior portion of the nasal septum.

　Since the incidence of dentinoma of the nasal and paranasal area is extremely low, the literature relating to this tumor was reviewed. No previous report on dentinoma was found in the Japanese literature, therefore the present case is believed the first one in this country.
