　はじめに

　聴器は解剖学的に骨で囲まれた複雑な構造をしているため，ここに発生する悪性腫瘍は早期発見が難しく手術的切除が困難な場合が少なくない。また，腫瘍の進展範囲の正確な把握が難しく，病期分類も確立されていないため，各施設では症例ごとに治療法を模索しているのが現状であると思われる。今回われわれは，頭頸部領域では比較的稀とされる聴器癌を過去11年間に6例経験したので，これらについて臨床的検討を行い，さらに病期分類と治療法を中心に文献的考察を行ったので報告する。

An analysis of six patients with treated between 1985 and 1996 is presented. There were four cases of the external auditory canal type (three squamous cell carcinomas and one adenoid cystic carcinoma) and two cases of the middle ear type (all were squamous cell carcinomas). We treated squamous cell carcinoma by both radiotherapy and surgery, while adenoid cystic carcinoma by surgery alone. All patients suffering from external auditory canal type were alive, and a patient of the middle ear type died. It was thought that the complete resection of the tumor and parotidectomy was necessary for treatment.
