頸部に発生したCastlemanリンパ腫（mixed type）の1例

Castleman's Lymphoma (Mixed type) of the Neck: Report of a Case

I．緒言

　われわれ耳鼻咽喉科医にとり臨床上，頸部腫瘤は日常しばしば遭遇するものである。Castlemanリンパ腫は縦隔に好発し頸部に発生することは比較的少ない良性腫瘍である。われわれは最近頸部に発生したCastlemanリンパ腫の症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A patient was 49-year-old male who presented with a mass in his left neck.

On first examination the mass was a walnut size in the left neck, and its elasticity was hard and the boundary lines were clear. There was no adhesion to surrounding tissues.

After various examinations, the mass was dia-gnosed as a benign tumor, and enucleation was performed under general anesthesia. Pathohistolo-gical diagnosis was Castleman's lymphoma of the mixed type.

There have been only a few reports on this tumor occurring in the neck, and on reviewing the literature, the number of this tumor including this case was only 24.

Histologically, the mixed type of Castleman's lymphoma is also very rare and in Japan there were only 7 cases to date.
