頸部に発生したCastleman病の1例

A case of Castleman's disease of the neck

はじめに

　Castleman病は，比較的稀な原因不明のリンパ増殖性疾患であり，縦隔や肺門に好発するが頸部にも発生がみられる^1）。

　今回われわれは，当初悪性リンパ腫や甲状腺癌とその頸部リンパ節転移を疑ったが，病理組織学的検査にて頸部腫瘤はCastleman病と診断された1例を経験したので報告する。

　We reported a case of Castleman's disease occurred in the left neck with thyroid tumor. A 19-year-old female presented with the chief complaint of a left neck mass. Ultra sound examination, CT scan and MRI showed the tumors beyond the left sternocleidomastoid muscle and in the left lobe of the thyroid gland. Both masses resected surgically under general anesthesia and they were histopathologically diagnosed as the hyaline vascular type of Castleman's disease and the adenomatous goiter each other. Postoperative course was uneventful.
