はじめに

　副鼻腔と視器は解剖学的に隣接しており，鼻副鼻腔疾患ではさまざまな視器障害が生じやすい。また，視器障害を呈した場合，早期の診断，治療が重要である。一方で，視器障害を主訴に耳鼻咽喉科を初診することは少ない。今回，視器障害を主訴とし，鼻副鼻腔内視鏡手術を行った症例について検討したので報告する。

　Ten patients with the chief complaint of ophthalmological symptoms were treated with endoscopic paranasal sinus surgery. Seven patients were admitted to ophthalmology department for initial consultation. Visual disturbance was the most frequent chief complaint, and was found in 6 patients. The ethmoid sinus was the most frequently involved. The diagnoses were cyst in 4 patients, inflammatory disease in 4 and malignant disease in 2. Vision was improved in all patients with benign diseases.
