Ⅰ．はじめに

　上皮筋上皮癌（epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma：EMC）は，1972年にDonathら^1）によりはじめて報告された唾液腺由来の腫瘍であり，その発生頻度は唾液腺上皮性腫瘍の0.5～1.0％とされる。1991年の第2版WHO分類で初めて唾液腺癌として採用された^2）。大唾液腺以外の部位，特に鼻腔内発症の報告はきわめて稀である。

　今回われわれは，72歳女性の鼻腔内に発生した1症例を治療し，再発を認めず5年が経過したのでここに報告する。

　Epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma was certified as one of the salivary gland carcinomas on the 2nd edition of WHO classification in 1991.

　A 74-year-old female who had complained of frequent epistaxis presented with the tumor arising in the right nasal cavity. After the total removal of the tumor according to Denker operation, postoperative irradiation with X-ray was accompanied. Follow-up at 5 years showed no recurrence.

　The occurrence of the tumor in salivary gland is 0.5-1％ and in the nasal cavity is extremely rare. This is the 11^th case in retrieved issues in the world.
