（25E-19）　中心窩下に脈絡膜新生血管（CNV）がある加齢黄斑変性症に対して，インドシアニングリーン（ICG）を用いた色素増強光凝固を施行して，その治療成績を検討した。対象は，フルオレセインおよびICG螢光造影でCNVを確認できた視力0.5以下の41例42眼で，occult CNVの症例も含まれる。ICG40 mg静注の後5分後より，波長810nmの半導体レーザーによって，CNVに対して中心窩を含む全体凝固を施行した。3か月以上経過観察した42眼では。改善24％，不変47％，悪化29％であり，6か月以上経過観察した32眼では，最終視力は，改善31％，不変47％。悪化22％であった。

　この結果から，中心窩下にCNVのある加齢黄斑変性症に対して，ICG色素増強を併用した半導体レーザー光凝固法は有効であると結論される。

We treated 42 eyes of age-related macular degeneration by dye-enhanced laser photocoagulation. All the eyes had subfoveal choroidal neovascularization (CNV) by fluorescein and indocyanine green (ICG) angiography. Eyes were treated by diode laser at wavelength of 810nm 5 minutes after injection of 40 mg of ICG into the antecubital vein. An attempt was made to ablate the whole CNV at the power output of 300 to 500mW, spot size of 300 to 500 u m and duration of 0.5 seconds. At 3 months after treatment, the visual acuity improved by 2 lines or more in 10 eyes (24%), remained unchanged in 20 eyes (47%) and decreased by 2 lines or more in 12 eyes (29%) . At 6 months after treatment, visual acuity improved in 10 of 32 eyes (31%), remained unchanged in 15 eyes (47%) and decreased in 7 eyes (22%). The findings show the efficacy of dye-enhanced diode laser photocoagulation for subfoveal choroidal neovascularization in age-related macular degeneration.
