　走査型レーザー検眼鏡（SLO）を用い，健常人における静止固視時の回旋眼位の角度を調べた。また，SLOでの検査の信頼性を評価するために，同一被験者において複数回の検査を行い，その再現性を検討した。対象は10歳から60歳までの，平衡障害のない，眼疾患を認めない矯正視力の良好な健常人のボランティア54例108眼である。結果は全例外旋位であった。片眼の回旋眼位角度の平均は7.6±3.4（0〜15.8）度で，両眼平均は15.1±5.1（3.8〜25.3）度であった。すべての結果に年代による有意差はなかった。左右眼の差も個人差が大きく，最大10度あったが，有意差はなかった。再現性は左眼，右眼とも平均1.7度で，4度以内の再現性があった。

We measured the ocular torsion in 108 normal eyes of 54 volunteers using a scanning laser ophthalmoscope (SLO) . The angle of torsion was defined as that between the horizontal line and the line passing through the fovea and the center of the optic disc on the printed fundus image. The test subjects ranged from 10 to 60 years of age. All the eyes showed cyclodeviation. The angle averaged 7.6 ± 3.4 degrees in unilateral eyes and 15.1 ±5.1 degrees for both eyes. There were no significant differences among different age groups or between the right and left eyes. Reproducibility of measure-ment in same eyes was within 4 degrees.
