Abstract 文献概要

　眼内レンズ挿入術後に眼内炎を発症し，嚢内洗浄にて治癒した1症例を経験した。症例は80歳の女性で，術後2日目から前房蓄膿を伴う眼内炎を発症した。発症の2日後に嚢内洗浄を行い，以後急速に炎症は消退し，術後3週間目には視力1.0に改善し，後遺障害を残さずに治癒した。以上の結果から，術後早期に発症した眼内炎に対しては，嚢内洗浄が有効であると考えられた。

An 80 year-old-female developed endophthalmitis with hypopyon 50 hours after uneventful cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation in the left eye. The affected eye was treated by irrigation and aspiration of the capsular bag 2 days later. The intraocular lens was left untouched. The inflammation started to rapidly resolve thereafter, resulting in corrected visual acuity of 1.0 3 weeks later. This case illustrates that irrigation and aspiration of the capsular bag may be effective for endophthalmitis after cataract surgery in its early stage.
