（C1-2-26）　過去29か月間にアクリルソフト眼内レンズを挿入した1,498眼の自検例を検索した。27眼（1.8％）になにかの術中の障害があった。この大部分は挿入手技に起因するものであり，光学部が開かない事例が18眼（67％）と最も多かった。挿入時の障害が術後の視機能に影響を与えたものはなかった。挿入手技を適切に選び，これに習熟することで挿入時の障害を回避することが可能であると考えられた。

We reviewed a series of 1,498 eyes which received insertion of acrylic soft intraocular lens during the foregoing 29 months. Intraoperative complications occurred in 27 eyes (1.8%). The majority of these complications were related to the surgical technique. Failure of opening of the optics was the most frequent and occurred in 18 eyes (67%). There was no case in which the intraoperative complication adversely affected the visual outcome. It appeared that the complica-tions could have been avoided in many instances by proper selection and mastering of surgical technique.
