ウルトラパルス方式の炭酸ガスレーザーを用いた眼瞼手術

Blepharoplasty using an ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser

（C2-1-1）　ウルトラパルス方式の炭酸ガスレーザーを使用して眼瞼手術を行った。症例は，老人性眼瞼皮膚弛緩症25眼，眼瞼下垂2眼，下眼瞼内反症2眼である。年齢は50〜79歳，平均69歳であった。レーザーは，皮膚切開，皮下組織の剥離と瞼板前組織の切除に使用した。挟瞼器を使わなくても出血量が少なく，予定線での正確な切開が可能で，創傷治癒も良好であった。

We used an ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser system as adjunct to eyelid surgery. The cases comprised senile blepharochalasis 25 eyes, eyelid ptosis 2 eyes and entropion 2 eyes. The ages ranged from 50 to 79 years, average 69 years. The laser was used in skin incision, preparation of subcutaneous tissue and excision of pretarsal tissue. Use of carbon dioxide laser resulted in lesser hemorrhage without the need of chalazion forceps, accurate incision as planned and in rapid wound healing without complications.
