（19-レセ2-5）　前房内麻酔を点眼麻酔と併用し，その有効性と安全性について検討した。対象は片眼を点眼麻酔のみで施行し，僚眼を点眼麻酔に前房内麻酔を併用した19例38眼である。術後のアンケート結果から，前房内麻酔併用群のほうが，鎮痛効果が得られることが示唆された。また，術後の細隙灯顕微鏡所見，眼圧、前房内炎症，角膜内皮減少率などの他覚的所見は有意差がなかった。以上から，点眼麻酔と前房内麻酔の併用は，その麻酔法の簡便さと有効性で今後期待される麻酔法と思われた。

We evaluated the efficacy and safety of anterior chamber anesthesia in 19 cases with bilateral cataract. One eye was operated by topical anesthesia with 2% lidocaine. The fellow eye was operated by additional anterior chamber anesthesia with 0.5% lidocaine. Postoperative questionnaires gave responses implying that the latter method results in lesser pain during surgery. There was no differences between both groups regarding postoperative slitlamp findings, intraocular pressure, aqueous findings and corneal endothelial cells. The findings show that additional anterior chamber anesthesia promises to be of value because of its efficacy and safety.
