　網膜色素変性症（以下RP）に硝子体出血を合併した2例を経験した。症例1は47歳女性。1982年からRPの診断のもと経過観察中であった。初診時，右眼黄斑部毛細血管床びまん性拡張，微小血管瘤，網膜細動脈瘤が見られた。6年後に左眼網膜前および硝子体出血を起こした。両眼黄斑部の動静脈吻合と，左眼の乳頭上新生血管がみられた。硝子体出血は数回の出血を繰り返しつつ次第に吸収された。10年後には動静脈吻合は両眼とも自然消退した。症例2は48歳男性。RPと診断されていたが，1988〜93年に，右眼は4回の硝子体出血をくり返した。当初検眼鏡検査，螢光眼底造影で網膜新生血管は検出できなかったが，93年には乳頭から黄斑部にかけての新生血管と最周辺部の無血管帯を見いだした。以上の2症例は全経過中Coats病様滲出病変を示さなかった。

We observed recurrent vitreous hemorrhage in 2 cases of retinitis pigmentosa: a 23-year-old female and a 48-year-old male. The first case showed, 10 years before, diffuse capillary dilatation, micro-aneurysms and a paramacular macroaneurysm in the right eye. Six years later, similar retinal vascu-lar lesions and disc neovascularization developed in the left eye followed by recurrent vitreous hemor-rhage. The retinal microvascular changes and vitreous hemorrhages subsided spontaneously dur-ing the ensuing 4 years. In the second case, recur-rent vitreous hemorrhage developed in the right eye. Funduscopy and fluorescein angiography were inconspicuous. We detected, 4 years later, retinal neovasucularization in the macula and avascularity in the peripheral retina in the affected eye. Sub-retinal exudate was consistently absent in both cases.
