　53歳女子で，右上眼瞼外嘴部結膜皮膚移行部あるいは眼瞼結膜より発生した脂腺癌と考えられる症例で，眼瞼腫瘍の一部を生検後約2週間目より急速に眼瞼腫瘍および耳下腺腫瘍が増大し広範な転移をきたし，全身衰弱激しく，眼瞼腫瘍発生後1年2ヵ月，生検後約4週間で死の転帰をとった症例について報告した。病理組織学的には，脂腺癌と考えられ一部squamous cell carcinomaおよび未分化なbasal cell carcinoma様の像を呈していたが，脂肪染色ができなかったので脂腺癌を確定することはできなかった。また，転移巣は全て未分化なbasal cell carcinoma様の像で分化傾向は全くみられなかった。

A 53-year-old female developed a tumor along the lateral margin of the right upper eyelid during the past one year. It was biopsied and proved to be unclassified carcinoma. Two weeks after biopsy, the palpebral tumor and the parotid gland suddenly started to enlarge. Metastasis to the liver ensued resulting in death of the patient 4 weeks after the biopsy.

Postmortem studies showed the tumor to be car-cinoma of the sebaceous gland, part of which ap-peared as squamous cell carcinoma and undiffer-entiated basal cell carcinoma.
