緑内障の予後は概して単性が最も悪く，慢性炎性之に次ぎ，急性炎性は比較的良好とされているが，緑内障全般的には悲観的である1）2）3）4）5）。
緑内障の原因については未だに不明の点多く，治療成績は緑内障の種類の他に，生体反応異常の種類・食養・精神生活等の如何により可成りの影響をうけるものである。
The author observed cases of primary glaucoma treated with alimentary and pharmaco-therapy of oriental medicine and with eye-water.
As the individual is an organically related unit, behind the glancome it must have a st-rain which induces the glancoma.
The author considered this strain as an unspecific biological reaction and against it the author carried out the zuishochiryo of oriental medicine and at the same time told the pat-ients to take good care of their alimentary function.
As the result, the general condition of the patients were improved and the glaucoma was alleviated.
