I．はじめに

　麦粒腫の起炎菌の大部分は黄色葡萄球菌とされている^1）。然し，菌に負けて発病するには，体内因子の関与しない事はないであろう。その一因子として食餌のとり方が考えられる。ここに，昭和38年10月より39年9月に亘る1年間に経験した麦粒腫患者につき，発病前日の食餌内容の分明な131例について検討し，或程度の成果が得られたので報告御叱正を乞う。

　実験例の食餌内容の計算方法と算定基準患者から聞き得た食餌内容は，何を何gという正確さは望み得ないが，何をどういう容器に何杯という事から概略の量を推定して計算した。従つて実際値を余り隔らぬ程度の正確さは望めるであろう。

A report is presented over the influence of the dietic habit of 131 patients with hordelum from an analysis of the menu during the previous day of occurrence of the disease.

There were overeating of carbohydrates in 26.7% of cases, of fat and oil in 37.4% and of protein in 70.2% Indiscriminate overeating amounted to 21.4%. Green and yellow vege-tables and seaweeds were deficient in the menus in 75.6% of cases. Deficiency of vi-tamin A, B₁ and B₂ were detected in 53.4%, and 67.2% respectively.

Disproportion between staple and auxiliary foods was present in 55.7%.
