緒言

　ラカルノールは温血動物の臓器抽出物で，アデノシンを主域分とし，血管，特に冠状動脈に対し選択的に拡張する作用を有し，その拡張性は主に自覚的な訴えを基にして観察されて居るが，今回は慈大眼科教室の方法として，眼底動脈について拡張度をグルストランド検眼鏡に装備せるスクリユーマイクロメーターを以て他覚的に計測し，併せて中心性脈絡網膜炎に連用して相当の効果をおさめ得たので簡単に報告する。

Eight healthy persons and 5 cases with central serous chorioretinitis (Masuda) were given intramuscular and subconjunctival injection and the following results were obtained.

1) The calibre widening action of Lacarnol in the retinal vessels was rather strong and it continued for 90 minutes in the normel eye. The action reached maximnm after 20 minu-tes when the central retinal artery dilated by 9-10% and the central retinal vein by 5-8%.

2) Lacarnol had the similar dilating action to Kallikrein but the merit of the former may be its slighter decreasing action of blood pressure than that of the latter.
