　眼窩内に発育せる骨腫は，極めて稀な疾患でありAndrew （1887）のNew-Yorkに於る統計では，65年間50万患者中8例，亦Leipzig大学の20万患者中，僅かに3例であるとBedell （1906）は報告している。本邦に於ても記載の明かなものは，十数例に過ぎない。

　最近，我々は，眼窩内下側領域より発生したと思われる巨大な眼窩骨腫の一例を経験したので，此処に報告したい。

A male of 23 years old. The first examination was given on Feb. 8th, 1957. No special past anamnesis and family anamnesis. No marked internal or orthopecical symptom was observed. Marked hypertrophia of cymba conchae in the right ears was observed. He complained of the hypertrophia of his right eye and diplopia in early in January. Slight uneveness of the surface and tumor like a bone which did not moved from the base were found in palpation. Exophthalmos: right 14mm, left 12mm the movable area had the restricts in inner, outer and downward direction. Congestion of the disc was observed. V. d: 0.5 (0.9×+0.25D) V.S : 1.0 (1.2×+0.25D)
