I．緒言

　褐色細胞腫はクローム親和性組織から発生する腫瘍で，欧米では，特異な高血圧症として，Fra—nkel （1886）以来今日迄数百例が報告されている。本邦でも昨年，鵜川氏が52例を文献的に統計観察しているが，眼科的見地よりの報告は，我々の渉猟し得た文献上記載の明らかなものによれば岡宗・山本両氏，鵜川氏，大本氏及び山之内氏の各1例，計4例に過ぎず，欧米においても10指に及ばぬ程度である。我々は十二指腸潰瘍の手術中偶然に左副腎に発見され，術後病理組織学的に褐色細胞腫である事が確認された1例を経験したので，茲に報告する。

In this paper, the authors have described a case of pheochromocytoma in the adrenal medulla with ocular changes.

The patient was a 32-year-old male who had been suffering from hypertension, right hypochondralgia and poor visual acuity for the past several years.

During the operation of the duodenal ulcer, the tumor which was identified histologically pheochromocytoma had been discovered by chance at the left adrenal gland.

In his right eye, we noticed the opacity of the vitreous body and exudative changes just like Coats' disease with hypertensive vascular changes corresponding to the Scheie II in the fundus oculi.
