巨大な眼窩Hemangiopericytomaの1例

A case of giant orbital hemangiopericytoma

緒　言

　毛細血管から発生するHemangiopericytomaは1942年Stout and Murrayがはじめて記載し，以来欧米では比較的多くの報告がみられる血管性腫瘍である。

　しかし，わが国ではその報告は少なく，殊に眼科領域での記載はわずか数例に過ぎない。

A 27-year-old female developed a large sized reddish colored tumor in the right orbit. The tumor was detected behind the eyeball growing along the temporal wall of the orbit. Exophthal-mos showed about 35mm (Hertel), but visual functions were not severely impaired. The tumor mass was totally excised under general anesthesia through an incision temporal to the eyeball ex-tending to the apex of the orbit. Its size was 45×45×35mm and its weight was 21g.
