緒言

　ネオシネジン（興和）が散瞳剤として種々な長所を有している事は，既に桑原，宮崎，戸松の諸氏によつて報告されている。

　即ち，桑原氏等は人眼に於いて，瞳孔径及び眼圧に対する影響に就いて実験し，宮崎氏等は瞳孔径，眼圧，近点距離に及ぼす作用に就いて実験している。以上の実験は点眼によるネオシネジンの作用に就いてであるが，戸松氏は点限の他，球結膜下注射をも行い，瞳孔径，眼圧及び眼底血圧に対する作用をみている。

The effects of Neo-synesin on the eyes were studied experimentally. Neo-synesin had maked Hydriatic function against the eyes of rabbits and normal persons but its continuous time were relatively short in spit of its extrem mydriagis. The slight decrease of accomodation ad intraocular pressure were recognized in huma eyes at the extrem mydriasis. In 10 cases of over 60 yr. old patients of eye disease, 6 cases have shown decrease of intraocular pressure and 4 cases have shown no change. From the fcts mentioned above, this agent seems to be almost perfect as clinical mydriatics.
