緒言

　今日では，いわゆる漿液性中心性網脈絡膜炎（以下，中心性網脈絡膜炎と略称する）に対する光凝固療法は，螢光眼底撮影法の普及とも相まつて，広く一般化され確立した感がある。しかしながら，当治療法のもつとも好ましからざる問題点である凝固巣に相当した絶対暗点の性質については，量的に詳しい分析を試みた報告^1,2）が少数なされているものの，暗点の経時的消長については未だ報告はなされていない。

　今回，われわれは，中心性網脈絡膜炎に対する光凝固後の凝固巣に相当した他覚的暗点の経時的な消長について，量的な検索を行なつたので報告する。

Twenty-nine scotomas corresponding to the coagulated areas in 25 cases of central serous choroidopathy where leakage sites were photo-coagulated by xenon were evaluated quantita-tively. Scotometries with an auto-plot tangent screen were performed with the lapse of time after photocoagulation.

Scotomas decreased in size at regular inter-vals after photocoagulation and finally most of them disappeared. Decrease in the size of sco-tomas was discussed from clinical and histopa-thological points of view.
