Fluorescein Angiography of Central Serous Retinopathy Following Water Provocation

緒言

　中心性網脈絡膜炎に対する螢光眼底撮影法の導入により，螢光漏出点の存在が確認され更に，その部に光凝固を行なうことにより本疾患の多くに，その治癒が早められていることは事実である。しかし，螢光漏出点を確認できない症例も，ごくわずかであるが存在し，他疾患との鑑別に苦慮する場合もある。しかるに，1972年増田により，一つの試みとして，飲水1000mlで負荷を行ない，螢光漏出点の確認が可能だという報告^12）があり，今回，われわれも少数例ではあるが，追試する機会に恵まれ，この方法が，螢光漏出点の確認，そして，早期治癒にとどまらず，きらには，診断鑑別，治癒判定などに用いられる可能性があると思われるので，ここに報告する。

Six cases with central serous retinopathy were examined by means of fluorescein fundus angiography in a routine fashion and also 30 minutes after ingestion of 1 liter of water.

Routine fluorescein angiography revealedminimum leakage of the dye in two cases. Fluorescein angiography following water inges-tion resulted in markedly active leakage of the dye in either case.

Four cases with central serous retinopathy failed to show any pathological lesion by fluore-scein. Fluorescein angiography following inge-stion of water resulted in similar negative results.
