緒言

　Systemic Lupus Erythematosus （以下SLEと略す）に関する眼症状は，1929年Bergmeister^1）の報告以来，我が国に於てもすでに多くの報告がなされている。それらによれば，本症の眼症状の多くは眼底の変化であり，その他，角膜炎なども生ずるとされている。

　当眼科学教室に於ても，過去5年間に9例のSLE患者を経験する機会を得たので，ここに報告する。

Ophthalmological examinations were conduct-ed in 9 patients with established diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus. The age of the patients ranged from 17 to 40 years. All cases happened to be females.

The pathological ocular manifestations in the present series was confined to the fundus only : none of the 9 subjects showed any lesion in the conjunctiva, cornea or the transparent media as has been reported in literature.
