アレルギー性ブドウ膜炎に対するヨード結合レシチンの作用について

Systemic Use of Lecithin Dound Iodine for Experimental Uveitis

緒言

　ブドウ膜炎は古くより種々の治療が試みられているにも拘らず，眼疾患としては現在に至る迄適切な治療方法が確立されておらず，失明の転帰をたどる患者の多い現状である。

　今回著者らはブドウ膜炎に対するヨード剤の効果について，微量のヨードが網膜の新陳代謝を促進するという考え方から更に一歩進んで，ヨード結合レシチンの形態をもつJolethinをヨード剤としての効果と，その抗体産生抑制作用より併せ考察し，実験的並びに臨床的ブドウ膜炎に対し，Jolethinの大量投与による臨床的経過と共にERG記録による観察を行ない，いささかの知見を得たのでここに報告する。

Lecithin bound iodine (Jolethin) was admin istered to rabbits with experimentally produced uveitis by injecting bovine serum or by electric irritation. The animal received 1.5g to 5.0g of Jolethin per kg. body weight and were folio wed up by ERG studies and by routine clini-cal examinations.

1. The administration of lecithin bound iodine significantly improved the ERG findings and inflammatory manifestations of uveitis produced by immunological or physical means.

2. In human patients with uveitis of allergic nature, administration of 0.05 to 0.2g/kg bd.
