Myopathyの症状を伴つた農薬中毒と思われる症例について

Systemic Myopathy as Intoxication by Pesticides

緒言

　最近，農薬の人体に及ぼす影響に関する数多くの報告が見られるが，特に有機燐中毒の眼障害について，社会問題として広くとり上げられるようになつた。

　今回著者らは有機燐剤を含む数種の農薬を本業として水田，ならびに副業としてビニールハウスの栽培に使用している農業従事者母子にmyo—pathyの症状と合併した慢性農薬中毒と思われる症例につき検索する機会を得たので報告する。

Systemic myopathy and myasthenia gravis de-veloped in a 22-year-old male and his 47-year-old mother. Both had been engaged in agricul-ture and were constantly exposed to possible hazards of insecticides, including organic phos-phor preparations, for the past 6 years. Both cases showed pathological low cholinesterase and high CPK values in the serum. No patholo-gical finding were elicited in the state of re-fraction, cornea or the pupil.
