I．緒言

　私達は，第20回臨床眼科学会で「Cryosurgeryの試み」と題して，眼科領域におけるCryosur—geryの現況を紹介し，同時に網膜剥離に対する冷凍手術法（Cryoretinopexy）の経験を予報として発表した。その後今日までに10例11眼を本法によつて治療し，良好な治癒成績が得られ，またほぼ適正な手術条件を設定することが出来たので，ここに報告する。

An analysis of the 10 cases in which cryo-retinopexy was used, is reported.

Of the seven manifest detachments treated with cryoretinopexy, an uneventfull reattach-ment was obtained in six cases.

Of the four cases treated with cryopexy, two subseqently developed retinal holes, one with retinal detachment, the other without.

The proper range of therapeutic temperature and the indication of cryoretinopexy, post-operative change of the fundus are discussed together with the complication resulting from this freezing method.
