緒言
網膜剥離の治療は，その手技ならびに術式の進歩により手術成績が近年向上しつつある。しかし，手術中に遭遇するさまざまの合併症が経過を複雑にし，手術成績を大きく左右することがある。今回われわれは，網膜剥離手術における合併症を調査した。本篇では手術中におこる合併症を調査し，それが手術成績に及ぼす影響を検索し，その対策について考按した。
Complications during operation in retinal de-tachment surgery, which were performed in 525 eyes in our clinic during the past four years, were discussed.
Intraocular hemorrhage was one of the most frequent complications, common to all precedures, and disturbed the reattachment of the retina and the recovery of the visual function follow-ing the surgery. They occurred most frequently during release of sub-retinal fluid.
During the same procedure, retinal incarcera-tion and vitreous loss also occurred in some cases. These complications made the result worse.
