Hepacarinの使用経験

Treatment of some fundus diseases with Hepacarin

　抗血液凝固剤は心筋硬塞症，狭心症，脳血管障害血栓性静脈炎等の血栓塞栓症の治療に広く応用されるところであるが，眼科においても網膜静脈血栓症，網膜動脈塞栓症その他に使用されている。

　抗血液凝固剤にはHeparin系，Coumarin系，Indandione系のものがあるがHeparinが最も広く用いられている。Heparinは従来Heparin—Sodiumとして用いられて来たが，これは循環Caイオンを取つてCa塩に変るため大量使用時低Ca血症を生ずるおそれがあるし，又筋注，皮下注，皮内注射時に皮下溢血，血腫を起しやすいと謂われる。この欠点を補う目的でフランスのVairel, Denoyelle等はいろいろ研究した結果Heparin-Calciumを作ることに成功した。これが製品化され，わが国ではエーザイK．K．からHepacarinとして市販されている。

Six cases of retinal vein thrombosis, one case of retinal artery occulsion, four cases of pigmentary degeneration of the retina and one case of macular degeneration were treated with Heparin-Calcium (Hepacarin Eisai). He-pacarin was used intravenously 5,000 units once a day from 7 to 10 days in the majority of cases and in some cases 5,000 units four times daily for 5 days.

The results obtained were summerized as follows:

1) Improvement in one of 6 cases with re-tinal vein thrombosis was excellent, in 3 ca-ses good and in 2 cases a little.
