網膜静脈血栓症におけるWarfarinの使用経験

Anticoagulant treatment of retinal vein thrombosis with Warfarin

　Warfarinは米国Wisconsin大学のP．K．Link教授（1943）により発見されたCoumarin系の抗凝血薬で効果の発現が比較的速く，又持続性で毒性の少いこと等を長所としている。その化学構造は3—（α—acetonylbenzyl）−4—hydroxy-cou—marinで構造式は下の如くである。

　私は今回エーザイK．K．より本剤の提供を受けて2〜3の疾患に使用する機会を得たので以下にその成績を報告するものであるが，今回は網膜静脈血栓症に対する効果について実験したところを報告する。

Twelve cases of retinal vein thrombosis were treated with Warfarin (Eisai) perorally. Two cases were central vein thrombosis and 10 were tributary retinal vein thrombosis.

The results obtained were as follows:1) One of the 2 cases with incomplete central retinal thrombosis was treated with gratifying result, while no effect was noted in the other. The therapeutic effect in 2 of the 10 cases with tributary retinal vein thrombosis was excellent, in 3 cases good, in 4 cases poor and no effect in the remaining one case.
