　Warfarinは1943年米国Wisconsin大学のP．K．　Link教授により発見されたCoumarin系に属する抗凝血薬で，効果の発現が比較的速く，持続性で毒性の少いことが長所とされている。

　私共はエーザイK．K．より本剤の提供を受けて眼疾患に対し使用実験中で，先に網膜静脈血栓症における使用成績について報告したが，今回は網膜色素変性症に対する効果について経験したところを報告する。

Three cases of pigmentary degenaration of the retina, four cases of pigmentary degeneration without pigment and one case of degenerative retinopathia punctata albescens. were treated with Warfarin perorally.

The results obtained were as follows:

2) Improvement of vision was fairly good in 5 cases, slight in 2 cases and absent in one case. Improvement of visual field was exce-llent in 4 cases, good in 2 cases and absent. in 2 cases. No improvement in dark adaptation was observed in all of 8 cases.
