Iridenclesisによる治験例の観察（予報）

Clinical studies on Iridencleisis

　虹彩嵌置術は既に100年前に考案せられていたと云う長い歴史を持つた術式であり，その間に幾多の変遷はあつたにせよ現在なお欧米諸国においても，本邦においても行われ，とくに最近多くの報告が見られると云う事はその術式の優秀性と予後の良好な結果と相俟つて興味ある問題だと考えられる。

　既にこの手術について赤木^1），須田^2），池田^3），弓削・中村^4）教授等を初め呉^5），藤野^6）氏等がその術式の検討並びに適応，予後，経過については詳細に報告されて居るが今回私達もここに2年半（昭和35年〜37年9月迄）にわたつて虹彩嵌置術を行い牛眼も含めて161眼について主として視力，眼圧についての一般的観察を行い2〜3の知見を得ましたのでここに報告し，諸先生の御批判を仰ぎたいと思います。

The postoperative changes of visual acuity and ocular tension were observed in the cou-res of two weeks to two years after Iridenc-leisis was performed.

In regard to visual acuity, the cases of Gl-aucoma Simplex, who had had atrophy and excavation of the optic disc before the ope-ration showed no recovery of their decreased vision and a small number of cases showed visual improvement, while the cases having no atrophy nor excavation showed better re-sults.

And any of the cases of Glaucoma inflam-atorum acuta or Glaucoma secundarum never showed the decrease of vision after operation.
