I．緒言
1911年Kennedyが前頭葉腫瘍に対して，診断的価値のある症状として，脳腫瘍と同側性に一次性視神経萎縮と，対側に中心暗点を伴う球後視神経炎をあげて以来，前頭葉腫瘍の診断に意義あるものとして，種々報告されて来た。我々には最近同症の4例を観察したので，原因となるべき脳の病変の性質，及び局在性の意義に主点をおいて述べてみたい。
Authors reported four cases of the Foster-Kennedy's syndrome. The 1st case: 43 year old male. Patient noticed visual disturbance of the left eye 2 years ago. At our first examination. LVa. S.L., RVa 0.9. Visual fi-eld. R nasal hemianopsia, on the left side it could not be measured. Funduscopy revealedchoked disc in the right eye and optic nerve atrophy in the left. Patient had occasionally showed so-called "frontal lobe syndrome." Operation showed left fibro-blastic meningio-ma at the sub-frontal area.
The 2nd case: 31 year old femle. She noticed left visual disturbance 6 months ago.
