要約　目的：網膜芽細胞腫で眼球を摘出した後に挿入した可動性義眼台（Medpor^®）の使用経験の報告。対象：過去3年間に網膜芽細胞腫で眼球を摘出し，可動性義眼台としてMedpor^®を挿入した12例12眼を対象とした。摘出時の月例は11～107か月（平均34か月）であった。8例では摘出前に眼球保存療法が行われ，1例ではCoats病の診断で強膜輪状締結術が行われていた。結果：平均18か月の術後観察期間中，義眼台の動きは良好で，義眼台の露出や感染症はなかった。しかしペグを使用していないので，義眼の動きは不十分であったが，第一眼位での外観は良好で，保護者の満足度が高かった。結論：可動性義眼台Medpor^®は，手術法などに注意すれば露出の頻度が低く，網膜芽細胞腫の眼球摘出後にも有用である。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the outcome after insertion of Medpor^®,a mobile orbital implant,following enucleation for retinoblastoma. Cases：This retrospective study was made on 12 eyes of 12 patients who received enucleation for retinoblastoma during the past 3 years. Patients were aged 11 to 107 months,average 34 months,at the time of surgery. Conservative treatment to the eye had been performed in 8 cases. One eye had received scleral buckling surgery under the diagnosis of Coats disease. Results：The orbital implant showed good motility during follow-up for an average of 18 months after surgery. There was no case of infection or exposure of implant throughout. The prosthesis showed good outlook in the primary position and resulted in high satisfaction by parents in spite of insufficient motility due to absence of peg for fixation. Conclusion：Medpor^® was useful as mobile orbital implant after carefully performed enucleation for retinoblastoma.
