東大式マグネツト入義眼及び義眼台使用の遠隔成績並びに鹿大式義眼台使用経験例に就て

On the bed of the prothesis mobile made in Tokyo University and Kagoshima University

緒言

　第2次世界大戦を境として義眼は従来の硝子製義眼から「アクリル樹脂義眼」に変り，又その可動性に就ても可動義眼手術の分野に於ても長足の進歩を来した事は吾人衆知の事実である。

　義眼を可動性にするための研究は古くより行われているが，之を大別すると埋没型と半埋没型との2種類に分けられる。我国に於ては埋没型として吉沢清氏の考按による東大式マグネット入義眼台があり，半埋没型として桑原安治氏のもの，山本清一氏の京大式義眼台，中村陽氏の籠型義眼台等がある。外国に於ては埋没型としてはTrout＿mannの磁性義眼台，Mager and Gougelmannの改良型，Bietti．Allen．等があり，半埋没型としてはCutler, Ruedeman, Stone-Jardon，Hamblin, Moura Brazil等のものがある。

1) We have used the bed of the mobile prot-hesis with a magnet made in Tokyo Univer-sity for the past 11 years, and obtained the following result ;

a ) Experiment cases ; total number of cases 36 (37 eyes), sex ; male 17, female 19, age ; 14 in the teens, 17 in the twenties and 5 in thirties, side ; right 23 and left 13, type of the bed ; 30 for evisceration and 6 for enucleation.

b) Using duration ; teen years in the long-est, and two years in the shortest, and cases 5 of 6 cases showing worse resu-lts had accidents that the scleral sutu-res fell off, and the accident occurred within half and one year on all cases.
