要約　目的：糖尿病黄斑浮腫に対してトリアムシノロンアセトニドを後部テノン囊下に注入した結果の報告。対象と方法：糖尿病黄斑浮腫がある6例9眼にトリアムシノロンアセトニド20mgを後部テノン囊下に1回注入し，5～11か月（平均8か月）の経過を追った。男性3眼，女性6眼で，年齢は平均65歳であった。視力はIogMARで評価し，0.2以上変化したものを改善または悪化とした。結果：視力は4眼が改善，5眼が不変であり，悪化はなかった。視力が改善した4眼中1眼では，注入後284日で元の視力に戻った。合併症として高眼圧が1眼，眼瞼下垂が2眼にあった。感染または血糖値上昇はなかった。結論：トリアムシノロンアセトニドの後部テノン囊下注入は，糖尿病黄斑浮腫で視力を改善させる。高眼圧と眼瞼下垂などの合併症については，事前に説明することが望ましい。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the outcome of sub-tenon injection of triamcinolone acetonide for diabetic macular edema. Cases and Method：This retrospective study was made on 9 eyes of 6 patients who received a single injection of 20mg triamcinolone acetonide for diabetic macular edema. Their age averaged 65 years. They were followed up for 5 to 11 months, average 8 months. Visual acuity was evaluated by logMAR. Changes by 0.2 were judged as improvement or deterioration. Results：Visual acuity improved in 4 eyes, remained unchanged in 5, and deteriorated in none. Out of 4 eyes with improvement, visual acuity returned to the initial level after 284 days. As major complications, ocular hypertension developed in one eye and blepharoptosis in two. Conclusion：Sub-tenon injection of triamcinolone acetonide may result in improved visual acuity in eyes with diabetic macular edema. Patients have to be informed beforehand regarding possible complications including ocular hypertension and blepharoptosis.
