抄録　本論文では，先行研究で開発された，うつ病罹患者に対する偏見を測定するためのSD法評定尺度の妥当化を実施した。研究1では先行研究の予備調査のデータを分析し(n＝342)，研究2(n＝180)ではオンラインアンケート調査を新規に実施した。主な結果として，研究1では，うつ病罹患者に対して「暗さ」「心の弱さ」という偏見を抱く全体的傾向を尺度上で確認できた。研究2では，偏見との関連が予測される諸変数との間に，SD法評定尺度が有意な相関をもたないことが示された。これらの結果から，SD法評定尺度が，偏見の個人差を正確に捉えて相関を主体とした検討に役立てる目的ではなく，偏見の全体的傾向を捉える目的に適していることが示唆された。

　The present research validated the SD scale of prejudice toward people with depression that were developed in the previous study. In Study 1, we analyzed the data obtained in a preliminary survey(n＝342)of a previous study. In Study 2, we conducted an online survey(n＝180). The main results were as follows：participants exhibited “gloomy” and “mentally weak” beliefs on the SD scale on average(Study 1)；the SD scale did not have significant correlations between the variables that are theoretically related to stereotyping(Study 2). These results indicated that the SD scales should be used not to capture detailed individual differences and conduct correlation-based analyses but to examine general trend of the prejudice.
