本邦におけるCrohn病（CD）治療指針は，現在に至るまで30年近くにわたり改定が繰り返されてきた．専門家によるコンセンサスを主体としつつ，年々新しい知見を加味した改定がなされており，実地医家がCD患者を診療するに当たり基盤となるものである．CDに対する治療は，診断時や活動期の寛解導入を目的にしたものと，寛解維持を目的にしたものとに大きく分けられる．本邦ではいずれの病期においても栄養療法の併用が推奨されている．欧米では軽視されがちであるが，本邦を中心としてその有用性が報告されている．

　As for the Japanese treatment guidance for CD（Crohn's disease）, revisions have been repeated for nearly 30years up to the present. Based on consensus of the experts for IBD（inflammatory bowel disease）treatment, new knowledge has been added to it year by year. When a practical medical doctor treats patients with CD, this guidance must be basic. Treatment for CD is divided into two stages. One is induction of remission and the other is its maintenance. Combination of nourishment therapy is recommended in both stages of this disease in Japan. It is apt to be made light of in Europe and US, but the usefulness of nourishment therapy has been reported led and encouraged from Japan.
