Endoscopic procedure improve cosmesis of breast conserving surgery in the patients with early breast cancer by translocating the position of surgical wounds to inconspicuous part.In the present time, lumpectomy by lat-eral approach, transaxillar endoscopic partial mastectomy by lifting method, transaxillar total glandectomy by pneumo * and Video assisted partial mastectomy by periareolar approach have been performed as the method of endoscopic procedure in Japan, In addition, lymphadenectomy by transaxillar approach, Liposuction method, endoscopic lymphadenectomy by using visualized trocar and dissecting balloon under pneumo-axilla, endoscopic parasternal lymphadenectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy by using visualized trocar were reported at 13th Annual meeting of JASES in 2000.
