蝶形骨洞原発癌症例の経過中に見られた異常眼球運動について

Analysis of Abnormal Eye Movement Observed in A Case of Sphenoid Sinus Carcinoma

　I．緒言

　鼻副鼻腔は解剖学的に眼窩と密接な関係にあるため，これらの疾患の際，眼症状を合併する場合があり，時にはそれが症状の中心となることがある。最近，筆者らは蝶形骨洞原発癌症例の経過中に，次第に増強する異常眼球運動を認めたので，若干の文献的考察を加えてここに報告する。

　A 52-year-old patient with sphenoid sinus carcinoma complained of left abducens paralysis in the early stage, and bilateral II , III , IV and VI cranial nerves were gradually involved with the progress of carcinoma. Monoocular recording of optokinetic nystagmus and eye tracking test revealed the process of this progression. From this observation, it was thought that the primary tumor localized in the left sphenoid sinus and extended gradually towards the opposite sphenoid sinus and the base of the skull.
