I.はじめに
投与された薬物,とくに抗生物質の副鼻腔粘膜内移行について大沢(1951),五十嵐(1958),亀本1952)をはじめいくつかの報告がある。これらはいずれも粘膜の破砕と抽出物中に含まれる抗生物質の定量成績であり,薬剤の粘膜内分布を組織学的に観察したものはない。著者はテトラサイクリン系抗生物質が螢光を発するのを利用して,薬剤の粘膜内分布を知ることができた。
Following intravenous administration of hostacyclin solution, the sinus mucous membrane was removed and observed histologically by means of fluorescent microscopy. Fluorescence was seen in the infiltrative cells, epithelial cells, glandular cells, vessel walls, and, in a lesser degree, in the connective tissue fibers. Nasal secretions also showed a very faint fluorescence.
Fluorescence was seen to take effect more vividly in the above mentioned cell-structures when the agent was administered by direct instillation into the sinus cavity than through the intravenous route.
